Why Paige?
Paige Payne-Neal's platform for Justice of the Peace centers on compassionate, efficient justice rooted in her life experiences. Having faced the realities of single motherhood, financial uncertainty, and an abusive upbringing, she understands the struggles families endure. With her background as COO of Welch Law Firm and 20 years in family and commercial real estate, Paige will prioritize practical solutions that uphold conservative values while supporting community stability. Vote Paige Payne Neal for JP7.
Truancy
Addressing Truancy
Truancy affects families and futures, often stemming from deeper issues like financial hardship or unstable homes. Paige knows this firsthand from her own journey of working multiple jobs through school. She will implement supportive interventions that connect families with resources, encourage parental involvement, and partner with schools to reduce absences. Her goal is prevention over punishment, ensuring every child has access to education as a pathway to success without overburdening working parents.
Evictions
Handling Evictions
Evictions disrupt lives, especially for single parents and low-income families facing bill uncertainties Paige has experienced. Drawing from her real estate expertise, she will promote fair processes that include mediation, resource referrals for housing assistance, and landlord-tenant education. Paige commits to compassionate rulings that balance property rights with human dignity, aiming to minimize homelessness and foster stable communities through proactive support rather than reactive measures.
Efficient Court System
Improving Workflow
As COO with extensive legal operations experience, Paige will streamline court workflows to handle high-volume cases efficiently and reduce wait times. She plans to introduce modern tools for case management, staff training for empathy-driven service, and clear procedures that cut bureaucracy. This ensures faster resolutions for truancy, evictions, and small claims, saving taxpayer dollars while delivering justice that respects people's time and struggles. Paige's approach turns the court into a responsive system focused on fairness and results.
